OnStar assistance and one year of the Safe and Sound Plan are standard equipment on every 2007 Montana SV6. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price varies from 24,250 to 27,750 US dollars.
According to J.D. Power Ratings the Montana SV6’s, initial quality and appeal is below average though its green efficiency is about average. Promised but not delivered during the model year was an optional 240-hp V6. It gets 2nd-row side airbags for 2006 and comes with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. A 201 hp, V6 engine, 196 hp with AWD and 4-speed automatic transmission are standard. Power operation for the sliding side doors is optional. Sport suspension, rear obstacle detection, and remote engine are available.
In testing by the U.S., United States, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Montana SV6 received 5 stars, the highest possible safety rating, for driver and passenger protection in frontal collisions. SV6's performance and accommodations mirror those of comparably equipped Uplanders.
