Mitsubishi Motors Corporation was established in 1970 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is the fourth biggest auto-manufacturer in Japan, and in 2006 was ranked 782nd on Forbes' list of the 2000 biggest public companies. It is part of the Mitsubishi keiretsu, formerly the largest industrial group in Japan. Mitsubishi Raider is the only midsize import brand pickup that offers available V8 power and torque. Mitsubishi promotes the Raider's aggressive exterior, which was designed in California. A thin upper grille and thick lower bumper up front help produce a look that's evocative of the company's other models. There are two types of Mitsubishi Raider that are Raider Double Cab and Raider Extended Cab. There are 8 trims are available in Raider Double Cab in the year 2006. All are 4 doors and automatic. Out of 8 trims 2 are LS pickup, 4 are Durocross pickup and 2 are XLS pickup. There are 5 trims available in Raider Extended Cab. Out of 5 trims 2 are LS pickup and 3 are Durocross pickup. First LS pickup is manual and remaining 4 trims are automatic. Mitsubishi Raider comes in various colors such as steel blue pearl, lava red pearl, alloy silver metallic, arctic white, brilliant black. Mitsubishi Raider is a reclothed Dodge Dakota. The extended cabs have a 6.5 foot cargo bed and rear-hinged back doors that do not open independently of the fronts. Double Cabs are crew cabs with a 5.3 foot bed. Both body styles come in LS and DuroCross trim, and Double Cabs offer an uplevel XLS model. The XLS models use all-wheel drive that includes low-range gearing. Rear-wheel antilock brakes are standard and 4-wheel ABS, Antilock Braking System is available. The curtain side airbags that cover both seating rows are exclusive to the XLS.
