Suzuki Aerio
Suzuki Motor Corporation is a Japanese manufacturing company that produces a range of small automobiles, a full range of motorcycles, outboard motors, and a variety of other small combustion-powered engine products. It has main production facilities located in 22 countries and areas around the world.
The Suzuki Aerio is a compact car built by Suzuki Motor Corporation. It fits in between the compact and lower mid-size segments. The car was introduced in 2001 as a replacement for the Suzuki Esteem and Baleno, with a tall 5-door hatchback for maximum inner room efficiency or 4-door sedan bodies. It featured two different 16-valve gasoline engines, with 1.5 liters and 1.8 liters, this one capable automatic transmission is standard and all wheel drive available.
The Aerio starts at a price lower than many of its competitors but offers one of the largest standard engines, available all-wheel drive, and one of the best warranties. All Aerio models come with a 2.3-liter inline four engine that produces 155 horsepower and 152 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on front-wheel-drive Aerios, and a four-speed automatic is optional. The Aerio's styling is meant to look aerodynamic and distinctive. With an overall height 3 to 4 inches greater than most vehicles in its class, the Suzuki Aerio boasts a surprising amount of passenger and cargo room at the cost of a chunky profile. The engine offers more horsepower than most of the car's competition. On the basis of power alone, the Suzuki Aerio offers impressive performance for a car in its price range. In the past, all Aerios had a hard-to-read digital instrument panel, but Suzuki replaced it with an analog gauge pack last year.
The Aerio features a tall roofline designed to increase headroom and improve outward visibility. It's available in sedan and four-door wagon hatchback versions. The Aerio received a poor rating in the side-crash test even with standard side air bags. The Suzuki Aerio is offered as a sedan in base trim, and a wagon version in SX trim. Standard features include color-keyed front and rear bumpers, daytime running lights, automatic climate control, a six-speaker stereo with a cd or mp3 player and steering wheel-mounted controls, power windows, locks and mirrors, keyless entry. Aerio, due to its various attractive features and luxurious comforts, it is one of the favorite choices of the four-wheeler buyers.
