Pontiac Grand Prix
Pontiac is a brand of automobile produced by General Motors. Pontiac Motor Corporation manufactures nine different models namely G6 Sedan, G6 Coupe, G6 Convertible, Solstice, Grand Prix, Torrent, Vibe, G5 and GTO. Among these models, the Pontiac Grand Prix offers strong performance, a value-oriented price and very attractive package. Available as a four-door sedan in one of three trim levels namely base, GT and GXP, the Pontiac Grand Prix speaks all about passion, exuberance, style and comfort. This mock-up defines Pontiac’s tough heritage and delivers on the company’s commitment to offer innovative products to customers that are affordable and of high-quality. The base grand prix trim comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, a compact disc player, cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry and power windows and mirrors. The GT adds 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, a remote vehicle starter and a trip computer. A special edition package, which features ground effects, body color grille, bright exhaust tips and unique 17-inch alloys, is optional. The GXP, on the other hand, includes firmer suspension tuning, performance tires, an enthusiast-oriented stability control system, upgraded steering, a head-up display, unique trim and 18-inch alloys. In the base model, the standard 3800 series III V6 engine delivers 200 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque whereas the GT trim is power driven with supercharged version rated for 280 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 5.3-liter V8 monster in the GXP trim delivers a healthy 303 horsepower and 323 pound-feet of torque. All engines come with a four-speed automatic transmission except the GXP that has an automanual mode. Interior design and special features inside the Grand Prix include a definite cockpit theme, as the center stack curves to meet the driver and the gauges and displays are all in red. The exterior on the other hand comes in attractive colors including black, blue-green crystal, bronze stone metallic, ivory white, liquid silver metallic, sport red metallic, stealth gray metallic.
Pontiac is confident to continue its success in the one-tonne pickup segment with the new Grand Prix that aims to set a new standard in the industry in terms of engine performance, fuel economy, passenger comfort, safety features, excellent drivability, towing capacity and affordability.
