Nissan Versa
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., often called Nissan Motors or simply Nissan, is a Japanese automobile manufacturer which formerly marketed vehicles under the Datsun brand name until 1983. It is Japan's second largest car company after Toyota.
The Nissan Versa got its goofy-looking profile moderated by the long, 102.4-inch wheelbase. Powering the front-wheel-drive beast is an all-aluminum, 1.8-liter DOHC, Double overhead camshafts, 122 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque engines with a six-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic, optional only on S models and a continuously variable transmission, only for SL models, is available. The front brakes are disc, the rears are drum and Antilock Braking System is an option, but six airbags are standard. As is the standard fitment of active headrests and the tire-pressure monitor system for 15-inch steel wheels with 185/65R15 all-season tires. SL models, ride on alloy wheels
The 2007 Nissan Versa is a small four-door hatchback with, a sedan joins the lineup later in the model year, two trim levels, the 1.8 S and 1.8 SL. The 1.8 S has air-conditioning, a rear wiper, a 60 by 40-split folding rear seat and a Compact-Disc player, but power windows, power mirrors and keyless entry are optional. The 1.8 SL has cruise control, upgraded interior cloth, more adjustments for the driver seat and a six-Compact-Disc audio system with a Media-Player3 player jack, as well. It also has improved interior storage, lighting and trim. Optional features includes a sport package featuring exterior aero trim pieces, a convenience package of Bluetooth connectivity, intelligent keyless entry and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, a sunroof, upgraded audio speakers and satellite radio.
The Versa's interior is spacious and well-tailored, with a tall roof offering plenty of headroom and the combined front and rear legroom lets 6-foot-plus passengers sit comfortably at all four positions, with a fifth person wedged into the rear center seat, user-friendly interior controls, but with only front seat comfort. If rear seatbacks are lowered, the cargo area expands to hold an impressive 50.4 cubic feet of stuff. . The best fuel economy comes from the CVT-equipped Versa, the Environment Protection Agency rates it as offering 30 miles-per-gallon within the city and 36 on the highway.
