Honda S2000
In 1948, Honda Motor Company was founded by Soichiro Honda and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Honda Motor Company or simply called Honda is a Japanese manufacturer of automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, robots, jet engines and jets. However, as the name of the company in Japanese suggests, the company is often described as engineering or Engine Company rather than a car company.
The Honda S2000 is a roadster manufactured by the Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company since April 1999. The car was created to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary, and continues in the tradition of lightweight roadster S cars such as the S600 and S800. Honda S2000 trims have gas mileage of 20 mpg, miles per gallon in city and 26 mpg on highway with 4 cylinders, VTEC, Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control System and 2.2 liters.
Honda's S2000 roadster remains an exhilarating mixture of race-bred technology and sleek styling that is best suited to car enthusiasts willing to put up with its firm suspension, tight accommodations and high-revving engine for the sake of adrenaline-pumping performance and handling.
The 2006 Honda S2000 takes some getting used to. Whereas most cars are on the downside of their power curves at 5,000 rotations per minute, the S2000 is just getting started. Honda's VTEC variable valve timing system switches modes at about 6,000 rotations per minute initiating a surge of power that continues right up to the 9-grand limit. There's virtually no perceptible flex despite the S2000's roofless architecture, and body roll is kept to an absolute minimum by the sophisticated double-wishbone suspension front and rear. A 50 by 50 front-to-rear weight distribution gives the car exceptional balance and predictable manners in the corners.
The 2007 Honda S2000 is a compact two-seat convertible. It comes standard with a power-operated top, a glass rear window with a defroster, 17-inch wheels, and xenon HID, High Intensity Discharge headlights, leather seats, keyless entry, power windows, air-conditioning and a CD player. Honda S2000 interiorly has cockpit with only basic convenience features provided, nearly all the controls will ever need are mounted within a finger extension of the steering wheel.
The various safety and precaution measures offered by the car makes it comfortable to drive and worth purchasing it. Honda S2000, due to its various attractive features and luxurious comforts, it is one of the favorite choices of the four-wheeler buyers.
