Chrysler Sebring
The Chrysler Corporation was an American automobile manufacturer that existed independently from 1925 to 1998. The company was formed by Daimler Chrysler on June 7, 1925, with the remaining assets of Maxwell Motor Company. Chrysler redesigned its midsize line and retained the coupe and convertible but introduced a new Sebring sedan. In the previous generation, sedans were known as Cirrus. Its new V6 engines were available and sedans gained side curtain airbags. Their wheelbases were unchanged and their interior dimensions grew only slightly. Chrysler made many structural changes to improve crashworthiness and reduce noise, vibration and harshness. Coupes again shared their platform and powertrains with the Mitsubishi Galant and Eclipse. Each was built in the same Illinois factory, alongside the related Dodge Stratus. The LX coupe held a 147 horsepower, 2.4 liter four cylinder engine, while a 3.0 liter V6 rated 200 horsepower went into the LXi coupe. The V6 produced 37 more horses than its predecessor and came with a standard five speed manual transmission. Chrysler Sebring has a flexible fuel compatible engine that accepts conventional unleaded gasoline or E85 fuel. Sebring's engine produces responsive acceleration and quiet operation. Its tires are 215 millimeter wide and its diameter is 16 inches with an aspect ratio of 65. Its Driveline Configuration is FWD. It got 4 doors and rear independent suspensions. The vehicle has disc brakes in front and drum brakes in rear. The car is classified in midsize category. The new Sebring model is the Chrysler's 2.7 liter V6, which replaces the pokey Mitsubishi 2.5 V6. This change alone adds 32 horsepower and 22 pound per feet torque. Its gas mileage is increased by almost ten percent. The engine uses regular gas and has 200 horsepower at 5,900 rotations per minute and a 192 pound per feet of torque at 4,300 rotations per minute. It includes an active intake manifold for higher usable torque levels and an optional AutoStick manumatic. According to J.D. power quality ratings, in regard to mechanical, body and interiors the manufacturing and design quality are among the best. At Chrysler, safety is a priority designed into all of their vehicles. So it is particularly satisfying to see Sebring Sedan achieve a five-star rating and highest government frontal crash test rating for driver and front passenger. Sebring Sedan brings together style and safety so you one can look great on the road and feel safe.
