Chrysler 300
The Chrysler Corporation was an American automobile manufacturer that existed independently from 1925–1998. The company was formed by Walter Percy Chrysler on June 7, 1925, with the remaining assets of Maxwell Motor Company.
In 1955 the first Chrysler 300 was the most powerful production car in the US. It made full use of all three hundred horsepower on the sands of Daytona Beach that year for a record-breaking 127.580 miles per hour around 7 miles per hour faster than its nearest non-Chrysler rival. The Chrysler 300 is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 8 trims. Upon introduction, the base is equipped with a standard 2.7 liter, V6, 190 horsepower engine that achieves 21miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2006 Chrysler 300 is a carryover from 2005.
The 2006 Chrysler 300 is Chrysler’s full-size sedan that returns to a rear-wheel-drive platform. The top trim level 300C draws its name from the Chrysler letter series cars of 50 years ago and is powered by the legendary HEMI, a 340 horsepower 5.7 liter HEMI V8. The 2006 Chrysler 300 receives a number of updates, including an optional entertainment system mounted at the rear of the center console, an 8 way power seat with power recline replaces the 6 way power seat, and a tire pressure monitoring system is added for touring and limited. 2007 Chrysler 300 gas mileage is 21 in city and 28 on highway. Its engine is V6, 2.7 liter, automatic transmission, rear wheel drive. 2007 Chrysler 300 gas mileage is 17 in city and 24 on highway. Its engine is V6, HO, 3.5 liter, automatic transmission and all wheel drive.
The base 300 comes with 17 inch wheels, four wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, a power driver seat, a compact disc player, cruise control and a tilt telescoping steering wheel. The touring adds a bigger V6, alloy wheels, foglights, leather upholstery, chrome trim, stability control and brake assist. It also includes adjustable pedals, self-sealing tires and satellite radio. A navigation system is available on limited and 300C models, and the C is eligible for an even more powerful 380 watt stereo and HID, high intensive density headlights.
