Chevrolet Cobalt
Chevrolet is a brand of automobile, produced by General Motors. It is the top selling GM marque and the best known brand of General Motors worldwide, with Chevrolet or Chevy being at times synonymous for GM. Chevrolet is General Motors' largest brand currently offering 19 vehicles and many different enhanced versions. The brand's vehicles range from compact cars to large SUVs, sport utility vehicle. Its number one sellers include the Impala. The Chevrolet Cobalt, launched in late 2004, expands its lineup in 2006 with the addition of SS coupe and sedan models, and revises the model strategy to now include the entry-level LS coupe and sedan, LT coupe and sedan, and the premium LTZ sedan. Returning for '06 is the SS Supercharged coupe. Each model includes a specific interior, exterior appearance, wheels and tires, as well as a long list of standard and available features. The Chevrolet Cobalt is of 2 sub types namely 2006 and 2007 mock-ups. The Chevrolet Cobalt 2006 has 8 different types of trims. 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt performance features are 2,189 cubic centimeters, 2.2 liters in-line 4 front engine with 86 millimeters bore, 94.6 millimeters stroke, 10 compression ratio, double overhead cam and four valves per cylinder L61, unleaded fuel 87, fuel economy EPA, Environmental Protection Agency highway is 34 and EPA city is 25, Multi-point injection fuel system and 13 gallon main unleaded fuel tank. The 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt is a 2 or 4 doors, 5-passenger family coupe, sports coupe, or family sedan, available in 12 trims, ranging from the LS Coupe to the SS Supercharged Coupe. Upon introduction, the LS Coupe is equipped with a standard 2.2-liter, I4, 148-horsepower engine that achieves 25-mpg, miles per gallon in the city and 34-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The SS Supercharged Coupe is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 205 horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 23-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt is a carryover from 2006.
