Bentley Continental
Bentley Motors was founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919 when the first Bentley engine burst into life at New Street Mews in London. From these modest beginnings, the company went from strength to strength through the 1920s, with a developing series of highly praised motor cars and a line of racing triumphs for proving their exceptional performance. These laurels were capped with five outright victories at Le Mans between 1924 and 1930 and a sixth in 2003. The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a new, performance-oriented, ultraluxury sedan. Only one trim level is available. Standard equipment highlights include bi-HID headlights, adjustable suspension damping, 19-inch wheels, automatic door latching, four-zone automatic climate control, 16-way power front seats with three-position memory, DVD navigation, a premium audio system with a glovebox-mounted CD changer and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. It has a 6-litre, 12-cylinder engine, which powers the Continental Flying Spur from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds. It demonstrates the characteristic torque curve, which makes all Bentleys so stimulating to drive. The other model offered by Bentley group is the Bentley Continental GT, which is a large and a luxury coupe. Its standard equipment highlights consist of HID headlights, adjustable suspension damping, 19 inch wheels, auto-latching doors, four-zone automatic climate control, 14-way power front seats with three-position memory, DVD, Digital Video navigation and a good quality audio system with a glovebox-mounted CD, Compact Disc player. There is also a Mulliner Driving Specification package that adds 20 inch two piece wheels and distinctive leather upholstery. Distinct from other engines, the vehicle has a 6 litre engine, which is arranged in four banks of three cylinders in a W formation. The other addition of Bentley is the Continental GTC. It is inspired by the Grand Touring tradition of Bentley legend. It offers an endless power of a 12 cylinders and 6 litre twin turbocharged engine that can take one from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.8 seconds. It also offers a canopy opening up to the endless skies in less than 25 seconds. Bentley’s penchant for building high-performance, innovative, and meticulously crafted vehicles developed into the extreme care Audi gives to the making of each automobile also extends out into the community and the environment, highlighting our aspiration to redefine the state of the art.
