Bentley Arnage
The Bentley Motors was founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919 when the first Bentley engine burst into life at New Street Mews in London. From these modest beginnings, the company went from strength to strength through the 1920s, with a developing series of acclaimed motor cars and a parade of racing achievements to prove their outstanding performance. These laurels were restricted with five outright victories at Le Mans between 1924 and 1930 and a sixth in 2003.
Whether it is high performance of Arnage T, the beautifully refined Arnage R or the stately Arnage RL, no other car can be hand-built to customer requirements with such delicacy and care.
The Arnage R is not just in the meticulously handcrafted interior with its sensuous leather hides and its veneers but in the way it delivers its performance on the road. It has a 6.75 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which it shares with the Arnage RL. The car has huge reserves of power. The 298 kilowatt power is delivered in a smooth and progressive manner, enhancing the sense of comfort and control. Its panels of natural wood set off the chrome brightware of the controls. Its fluted seats decorate the distinctive winged B badge in the interior ambience.
The other model from Bentley is the Arnage T, which is one of the most powerful cars in the world. Its well-known 6.75 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivers an uncontrolled 336 kilowatt power and an amazing 645 pound per feet of torque. It is interpreted in a maximum speed of 168 miles per hour and 0 to 60 miles per hour time in 5.5 seconds. Its sports suspension is tuned for optimal driving enjoyment and is represented by the legendary black badge that gleams on the bonnet.
The next model offered by Bentley is the Arnage RL that is a truly custom-made vehicle. The L stands for long wheelbase and it is these extra 10 inches to the back partition, which permits additional space, comfort, beautiful detailing and superior technology. For its entire roomy interior it is equally thrilling to drive, without compromise to its performance provided by the powerful V8 engine.
