Acura RL
After a decade of research and development, Acura's debut in 1986 marked the beginning of an entirely new automobile division, and the first Japanese luxury car brand. Garnering awards from the very start, in 1987 the Acura Legend won Motor Trend's prestigious Import Car of the Year trophy, and the Integra made Car and Driver's Ten Best list the same year.
Acura manufactures 6 different types of sedan vehicles namely RL, TL, TSX, RSX, MDX and latest is the RDX. The Acura RL is of 2 sub types namely 2006 and 2007 mock-ups. The Acura RL is a large luxury sedan that seats five. It's available in one fully loaded model. The standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive HID, high intensity discharge headlights that swivel according to steering input; a voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic information, a keyless access and startup system.
The Acura RL 2006 and 2007 have 4 different types of trims namely all 4 door Sedan technology package. All the 4 sub models are automatic with 3.5 liters and 290 horsepower engines. The sub models both of 2006 and 2007 are available in exterior and interior colors. The exterior colors are carbon gray pearl, celestial silver metallic, desert mist metallic, lakeshore silver metallic, meteor silver metallic, nighthawk black pearl, opulent blue pearl, premium white pearl and Redondo red pearl. The interior colors are ebony leather, parchment leather and taupe leather.
According to the 62 reveiws taken, the Acura RL 2006 surpassed with an average rating of 9.3 out of 10. Similarly for Acura RL 2007, the rating till date is 9.7 from total of 2 reveiws. The MPG, miles per gallon for 2006 models gives averages of 18 in cities and 26 on highways. The 2007 Acura RL is entering its third year of production. The navigation system is no longer standard and is now part of the Technology package. There's also a new technology package combined with Acura's CMBS, Collision Mitigating Braking System and Michelin PAX run-flat tires. The 2007 models are totally automatic of 6 cylinders with 3.5 liters engine. Researches are still going on for MPGs.
