Town Motors started this business in June, 1941 as a DeSoto-Plymouth dealership in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. In 1961 Chrysler Corporation discontinued building the DeSoto automobile, so they became a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer. In 1993 they determined after looking at many consumer surveys to change the way they do business.
